Arya Omnitalk Launches ‘AryaVan’ – An Agroforestry Project

Arya Omnitalk, a leader in safety, mobility, and communication solutions, today announced the launch of AryaVan, its flagship CSR initiative dedicated to ecological restoration and rural community empowerment. This dream Project focuses on planting 1, 00,000 trees to generate long term livelihood opportunities for farmers and also focussing on ecological restoration.

Envisioned under the leadership of CEO Paresh Shetty, AryaVan is built on a simple yet powerful idea, that technology achieves its highest purpose when it also gives back to the society that sustains it. “Van,” meaning forest, reflects the initiative’s essence: creating something regenerative, enduring, and life-giving. AryaVan will focus on tree plantation, sustainable farming practices, ecological conservation, and livelihood development, with a strong emphasis on creating opportunities for farmers. The inspiration for AryaVan emerged from Arya Omnitalk’s long-standing commitment to building safer and more connected communities through innovative technologies. Over the years, the organization recognised a deeper responsibility, to ensure that its progress does not come at the cost of environmental degradation. AryaVan was envisioned as that bridge: a way to bring technological advancement and ecological stewardship into harmony. Speaking on behalf of Paresh Shetty, CEO, Arya Omnitalk and Syntel by Arvind shared, “AryaVan is the green heart of Arya Omnitalk. It reflects our core values of innovation, responsibility, and nation-building. Just as our solutions help make communities safer, AryaVan extends that same spirit to protecting nature and empowering the people who live closest to it. For us, safety and sustainability are inseparable; a truly secure future must also be environmentally resilient and socially inclusive.”

AryaVan was officially launched with an inaugural plantation of nearly 2,000 trees, implemented in collaboration with local communities, farmers, and on-ground NGO partners. Each plantation drive is planned systematically to ensure ecological relevance, prioritising regions where new green cover can restore soil health, improve water retention, and strengthen livelihood for farmers. The company’s long-term vision is ambitious: planting 1,00,000 trees over the next few years. This effort will extend beyond corporate resources to include employees, customers, and partners through community drives and “adopt-a-tree” participation models. Arya Omnitalk aims to build a collective movement where every stakeholder contributes to a greener, more resilient India. The initiative is designed not as a one-time CSR gesture but as an ongoing ecological program with sustained maintenance plans. Every sapling planted is monitored throughout its growth cycle in collaboration with farmers and community groups who act as custodians. This ensures long-term survival, measurable environmental impact, and year-round rural income opportunities.
Aligned with National Missions and Global Goals, AryaVan is closely aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including climate action, responsible consumption, and sustainable communities. It also complements national initiatives such as the Green India Mission and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible growth.
