Alembic Celebrates 119 Years by Creating Meaningful Impact Beyond Healthcare

Through 70,000+ nutritious meals,10,000+ tree plantation and more than 70 blood donations, Alembic celebrates 119 years of giving back to the community

Marking 119 years of its journey, Alembic is celebrating its Foundation Day by giving back to the communities that have been an integral part of its legacy. Rooted in the belief that meaningful progress is measured by the lives it touches, the company has undertaken a series of initiatives focused on child nutrition, environmental sustainability and healthcare. At the heart of the celebrations is a large-scale child nutrition programme. From 28 July to 4 August 2026, Alembic is serving freshly prepared, nutritious hot lunches to nearly 11,900 children every day across more than 37 government schools in Vadodara. By the end of the six-day initiative, over 70,000 wholesome meals will have been served, helping ensure children receive the nourishment they need to support their health, wellbeing and learning.

As part of its Foundation Day initiatives, Alembic also completed the plantation of 12,000 trees across Vadodara, reinforcing its commitment to building a greener and healthier future. Complementing these efforts, the company organised a Blood Donation Camp at its Karakhadi F5 facility, where employees from all Karakhadi manufacturing plants came together to donate blood. The drive witnessed more than 70 voluntary blood donations, reflecting the spirit of compassion and collective responsibility that continues to define Alembic’s culture. These initiatives are an extension of Alembic’s long-standing commitment to improving lives beyond healthcare. For over a century, the company has grown alongside the communities it serves, and as it enters its 120th year, it remains dedicated to creating lasting value through initiatives that strengthen communities, support wellbeing and contribute to a more sustainable future.
