  • Aims to touch 180+ learners in Rudrapur within a year

Titan Company Limited, inaugurates its 5th LeAP (Learn, Apply, Progress) centre in Rudrapur under its flagship CSR skilling initiative, marking the region’s first learning centre. In partnership with Tata STRIVE, the skill development and empowerment endeavour from Titan, will continue to drive sustainable livelihood for diverse communities in the region. With foundation laid last year, the new Rudrapur centre will serve as a hub for training, mentorship, and employment readiness, equipping individuals with the technical and life skills needed to thrive in the modern fast-paced workforce. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ajoy Chawla, CEO – Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited, said, “Our flagship LeAP framework has empowered over 1,40,000 individuals—including youth, persons with disabilities (PwDs), women at risk, and tribal communities—across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.”

Systematically designed, and embedding an integrated approach for diverse cohorts, Titan LeAP has empowered underserved communities, creating pathways to meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.

“We aim to extend the same LeAP promise with our new center in Rudrapur. We have already trained 100+ individuals in the initial pilot phase, and we are aiming to touch 180 learners in the region in FY26. With LeAP projected to reach 45,000+ youth nationally over the next three years, this initiative strengthens our vision of inclusive growth”, added Mr Chawla. Spanning across 3100 sq ft, the centre aims to propel confidence amongst young women and men, embed them with industry relevant skills and open sustainable career avenues for them. It is designed to deliver high-impact technical and employability training programs including Commercial Vehicle Technician, 2- & 3-Wheeler Technician, Auto and Retail Sales, along with essential skills in communication, digital literacy, and workplace readiness.

LeAP has led over 50, 000+ learners into employment, entrepreneurship, or self-employment opportunities; through integrated training interventions. At Rudrapur, we want to continue this legacy and create sustained community impact at the grassroots. In the initial pilot phase, we have already placed 80+ youth, who are earning across a range of INR 12000- 15000 per month. We have also witnessed a cultural mind-set shift in the region, with more young women venturing into non-traditional domains like automotive. In Uttarakhand, Titan’s CSR programmes have already impacted 62,000+ lives across six districts, and we aim to deepen this momentum through skilling and education”, added N E Sridhar, Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company Limited. The trainees at Rudrapur also include first-generation learners who are now accessing formal employment opportunities. Beyond vocational training, the programme equips learners with digital skills, financial literacy, and workplace readiness, enabling them to support their families, contribute to household income, and plan for the future.
