Despite Worsening Health Conditions Solidarities and Concerns Shower Equally On Hunger Strikers At Jantar Mantar

Today marks the 18th day of the hunger strike at jantar mantar. A day ago the hunger strikers saw immense support, solidarity alongside messages of concern at the protest site.

Actor Swara Bhaskar along with Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj, MLA Atul Pradhan and MLC Man Singh Yadav visited the site in solidarity with comrades Neha, Manish and Aameen.

Swara Bhaskar addressed the public meeting saying, “I have come here as a citizen and a mother. You are also fighting to save my 2.5 year old daughter’s future from these hooligans in power.” MP Priya Saroj and MLA Atul Pradhan assured the protestors of their support and called upon people from all walks of life to join the march to parliament on 20th July.

A delegation consisting of Professor Nivedita Menon, Aditya Nigam, Anuradha Chenoy and Radha Kumar also visited the students on hunger strike saying,”this government has no shame and no sympathy for the people. We are deeply worried about the health of all protestors amidst this malicious apathy.”

As the hunger strike reaches its 18th day, the RBS levels of Neha, Manish and Aameen have dropped to critical levels below 60 mg/dl. However, the student leaders along with Sonam Wanghuk continue to persevere deterioration of health and the shamelesness of Narendra Modi and Dharmendra Pradhan. Onwards to 20th July Parliament March! Not an Inch Back! AISA
