There is an increased rate of stress, emotional fatigue and burnout among medical professionals. High-pressure hospital environments aggravate it. During the session, the doctors were encouraged to reflect on their daily routine, and Acharya Anita enabled the healthcare professionals to find the right path to attain mental clarity, emotional balance and self-awareness. Ultimately a healthy doctor is a boon to the society, but most importantly the doctors owe it to themselves.
During the session, Acharya Anita enlightened the audience about simple ways to align their mental wellness with the aid of spirituality and simple techniques. She said, “Healthcare professionals deal with many difficult cases on a day-to-day basis, and they certainly impact them too. Continued exposure leads to negative impact. Taking a break every fortnight, just to do nothing, and connect with God through spirituality will help calm the mind.”

She further added one can work on their mental wellness bit by bit, every day, “Your mental health needs just 5 or 10 minutes in the morning, and it will realign how your mind and body work. Wake up with a calm mind, do some pranayama and balance your life. This will reset your day, and you will begin it with a relaxed energy, and the cosmic vibrations will ensure that the calm that you began your day with shall stay with you.”
Acharya Anita has been committed to the cause of the mental well-being of people of all strata of society for more than 25 years now. Through Sarvha Foundation, she has been involved in initiatives such as regular health check-up camps and skill development courses for the underserved members of the society. Her wellness sessions continue to inspire and encourage many more to focus on their mental well-being.
