The foundation aims to raise ₹1 crore through the issue, with a minimum investment of ₹1,000. The proceeds will fund one year of education for 160 students studying in classes 3 and 5 at Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School in Dhunela, Gurugram

Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation a registered Not-for-Profit Organisation on the BSE Social Stock Exchange (BSE SSE), today announced strong early participation in its public issue of Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) Instruments. The Issue, which opened for subscription on July 20, 2026 and closes on July 31, 2026, has received subscriptions exceeding 12% of the total issue size within the first two days. Further strengthening this early momentum, GTPL Hathway Ltd., a long-standing CSR partner of Lotus Petal Foundation for over seven years, has committed to subscribe to up to 15% of the Issue through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) allocation. The participation reflects growing corporate confidence in the Social Stock Exchange as a regulated and transparent platform for financing measurable social impact.
The Issue comes at a significant time for India’s social finance ecosystem, following the recognition of subscriptions to eligible Social Stock Exchange-listed ZCZP Instruments as admissible CSR expenditure under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, providing companies with an additional regulated avenue to deploy CSR funds. Commenting on the response, Mr. Kushal Raj Chakravorty, Founder and Managing Trustee, Lotus Petal Foundation, said: “The early response to the Issue reflects the confidence that donors, corporates and individual contributors place not only in Lotus Petal Foundation but also in the Social Stock Exchange framework itself. GTPL Hathway’s continued partnership over the past seven years demonstrates the value of long-term collaborations built on transparency, accountability and measurable outcomes. We believe the Social Stock Exchange has the potential to reshape institutional philanthropy in India by bringing greater governance, public accountability and confidence to social investments.”
The proceeds from the Issue will support 160 children from underserved communities by providing access to quality education, nutrition, healthcare and holistic development through Lotus Petal Foundation’s integrated intervention model. The ZCZP Instruments, with a face value of ₹1,000 each, are being issued in accordance with Chapter X-A of the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, and the framework governing the BSE Social Stock Exchange. As prescribed under SEBI regulations, the Issue is required to achieve a minimum subscription of 75% of the Issue size.
