As the 20th day of the hunger strike broke, health condition of Neha, Manish and Aameen continues to worsen amidst an outpour of solidarity and strength. Neha’s blood sugar level has been severely low and doctors have suggested that she break the fast and be hospitalized before the hypoglycemia worsens. Aameen has incrediblly high uric acid buildup in his body and has also lost almost 14% of body mass in kgs. Manish has lost more than 10kg of weight and has been on the brink of loosing consciousness, needing constant support for basic life activities.
In the morning of the 17th of July the brave woman who represents the inhumanity of the BJP-RSS machinery, the survivor of the crimes of Kuldeep Sengar of Unnao visited the site. “Neha along with AISA activists stood by me when justice was denied. I am here today to stand with them in their fight”, she said. Senior political leaders of the opposition continued to pour in solidarity with the movement.
